Position Summary
The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with all applicable accounting regulations and company policies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts
- Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions on a regular basis
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate entries
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
- Prepare journal entries, balance sheets, and income statements
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and analysis
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, or areas for improvement
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
- Minimum of 2–4 years of professional accounting experience
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or NetSuite
- Proven track record in preparing financial statements and maintaining general ledgers
